Truck Bodies and Equipment International Inc. TBEI was formed in 2005 to acquire Ox Bodies Inc. and Rugby Manufacturing Co. Ox and Rugby are manufacturers of dump bodies and hydraulic hoists. Later in the year, Crysteel Manufacturing Inc. was also acquired. In 2006, Hardee and Heil were added. Combined, these businesses have 10 manufacturing facilities nationwide. The ultimate end users of these products are landscapers, municipalities, refuse haulers and contractors who build roads, houses, etc. TBEI is seeking add-on acquisitions to extend its product offering or geographical reach.
